Garden party, barbecue

All Czechs have already incorporated „barbecue“ and „garden party“ in our everyday vocabulary, although we could be using „grilování“ and „zahradní slavnost“ in Czech. While other social events often have some pretence, why they are taking place, garden party and barbecue don’t need any.

Foods for a garden party

A garden party is not only about barbecue meat. On huge frying pans we prepare Spanish paella, American potatoes or Chilean specialities for lovers of spicy foods. The most favourite compositions of foods are often different kinds of meat, white sausages, ham, fish skewer, fresh salads and different kinds of barbecue sauces. Grilled vegetables are also delicious. Draught beer, homemade sweets and quality wine will ensure everybody‘s satisfaction.

Ambience and decoration

Barbecue and garden party can take place in any suitable garden or in a yard, where you can entertain yourself very well in a relaxed atmosphere and in the fresh air. When preparing a garden party, it is important to think about providing of party tents, music, entertainment for kids, and popular are also competitions with prizes. Very well suitable for a garden party is balloon decoration, and balloons filled with helium for kids.
